Children and youth are important to us. God has given them to us for just a few years to prepare them for lives as healthy, responsible Christian adults. New Horizons takes this responsibility seriously and we want to help parents “train a child in the way he should go…” (Proverbs 22:6, NIV)
Youth and Children’s Ministry has got to be one of the most exciting ministries at New Horizons Christian Church. We can help young kids discover a personal relationship with God. This is a good age to do so because they are full of energy, eager to learn about God, and do something great for Him. The Children’s programs at New Horizons try to harness that energy in exciting and creative ways. It is not enough to teach kids the Bible. We want them to fall in love with God and His Word and have fun while doing it.
Protecting Your Children
New Horizons Christian Church takes the safety of our children seriously. We have a thorough application and screening process for all of our volunteers and staff members. This includes a criminal and sexual offender background check. Plus, youth and children’s workers are taught about child abuse and safety. Furthermore, other policies establish procedures to insure the safety of our children and youth while they are in our care.
Preschool & Nursery
Our Preschool and Nursery are staffed by loving adults who care for our Kids. Each week they do an age appropriate craft, hear a Bible story, and take some time to play together. Oftentimes they will have something to take home to share with Mom or Dad and continue to practice what they learned throughout the week.

Parents, we have great adult worship opportunities for you each week, but we would love to have you come check out our Children’s programs with your child. Come see what all the excitement is about and be a kid again.
Sunday Mornings are a key time for us to reach Children with God’s Word. We have programs for birth through 5th grade during both of our Sunday Morning Worship Services.
