As life continues to move along at a tremendous pace, it becomes more and more difficult to fill our lives with things of substance. Many people may be busy wasting their time. I believe most people want to live their lives with substance for good purposes; they don’t want to waste their lives.

How can we, as God’s people and members of Christ’s church, have a positive influence on the general public, so as to reach as many of those people as possible? The early Christians gave themselves wholeheartedly to the things of God. If we want to be the church God wants us to be, we too, must devote ourselves to the things of God, enumerated herein.

On one hand, there is no greater emptiness a human can experience than to feel–either rightly or wrongly–that no one loves them. On the other hand, there is no greater feeling of peace in the world than to know that you are absolutely, completely, and unconditionally loved.
By our very nature, we don’t always want to do what we know we should do. We will examine three things we should keep in mind if we want to get good at being good.
The only way to survive the challenges of life, day-in and day-out, is through the power of God’s Spirit in your life. In order the survive and thrive, we must make an effort to guard our spiritual lives, nurturing and strengthening them. Today, we will look at the second and third of three important priorities for a thriving spiritual life.

Guest speaker, Tim Turner, missionary to Japan, talks about the work in Japan and tells us “why we should go”.
If we can’t believe everything we read, how do we determine what we should believe? We must look at the evidence that supports the statements. And, that is what we will do today with the Bible. We will look at the evidence that supports our trust in the veracity of the Bible–its reliability as a source of truth.
Fathers have an awesome responsibility to try to teach, guide, protect, and nurture their children in such a way that they will grow up to be responsible, strong, healthy adults. On the other hand, fathers can receive great rewards, too.
The Bible is a powerful book. If you take it seriously, it has the power to change your life. If members of the church take it seriously, the Bible can ignite congregations of believers and induce transformation in society.
